Leading German commercial law firm: Over 10 years of Malta expertise and high client confidence

For over 10 years, since February 2013 to be exact, the German law firm DR KRESSE INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRM has been advising primarily German-speaking clients on their business in and via Malta as an international hub.

The firm's founder and owner, Dr Hermann Kresse, former in-house counsel and head of human resources at RTL Television Germany, and executive director of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, runs the 'law firm with a sea view' in St Julians together with a British and a German lawyer colleague and trainee Maltese lawyers.

The law firm has been active for years in the fields of company structuring, company formation and company administration, coupled with advice on Maltese and international tax law. This is accompanied by consulting in the areas of online gaming, particularly with regard to Maltese gaming licences, as well as gaming affiliate business.

Licensed as a Corporate Service Provider Class C by MFSA

Since November 2022, the Corporate Division has been spun off into KRESSE CORPORATE LTD. This company is licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority as a so-called 'Company Service Provider'. On the one hand, KRESSE CORPORATE carries out the operational establishment of companies and, on the other hand, provides support in the administration of companies by taking over necessary services such as registered office and company secretary services and, in individual cases, the assumption of directorships, i.e., the management of companies for clients. In addition to the lawyers, one of whom is also acting as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer, the company currently employs a Corporate & Project Manager and intensively cooperates with the outsourced Compliance Officer, a Maltese lawyer; further staff growth is foreseeable.

Malta & International Consulting Competence

The Kresse Group also includes the consulting company KME Consulting Group Ltd, which mainly focuses on corporate support services such as accounting, coordination with auditors, consulting in the areas of company valuation and succession, relocation services, Malta licenses, real estate projects, yacht leasing and business development. In this area, there is a long-standing partnership with Maltese accountants and auditors, notaries and gaming specialists, among others. KME also has its own accounting staff.
